Objective   To provide financial and logistical assistance to groups of children who are physically disabled or chronically or terminally ill and wish to travel to the Central Florida area on holiday.   Background   The National Holiday Fund of the United States, Inc. (NHF USA, Inc.) became a registered Not For Profit Corporation in 2002, and received tax-exempt status in February 2003. An organized group of individuals in the United States had been participating in the financial and operational support of The National Holiday Fund for Sick and Disabled Children, a registered charity in the United Kingdom. (www.nhfcharity.co.uk) As more U.S. citizens began to participate, it was decided that, to formalize our efforts a Not for Profit U.S. Corporation should be established. With personal financial assistance from a Trustee of The National Holiday Fund of the United Kingdom our mission was accomplished. At the present time our history is established in offering assistance to The National Holiday Fund of the United Kingdom. Our mission is to become financially able to offer the same assistance to any group of sick and disabled children who meet the current criteria as established by the Board of Directors.
